Got a new PC? Or just searching for
the best essential apps? Then you are in the right place. These are my top 10
apps recommendation for you. Try these out!
1.Spotify Music
I mean who doesn’t love music
right? Most of the people prefer streaming songs online rather than having them
downloaded in PC. There are so many streaming services out there. But I think
Spotify is the best one since the song suggestions it gives by its algorithm is
just awesome. The basic membership to this app is FREE. But if you are one of
them who don’t want to get interrupted by ads while enjoying music, you have to
pay 389 rupees for 3 months which will also allows you offline playback with high-quality streaming.
You can download
it for free from Microsoft apps store:
2.Adobe Photoshop Express
All of us had a
situation where we have to edit a picture real quick. Well, this FREE
version of their famous product from Adobe will just serve your purpose. It has
all the basic options like Image Editor, Adjustments, Filters, Effects, Borders
etc.
3.WhatsApp Desktop
Tired of unlocking your phone to
send WhatsApp messages all day long? Well, say goodbye to your phone because
WhatsApp Desktop is here to save your day. This app has almost all the functionalities of the original app. But remember that this app will work only if your phone is connected to the Internet. Learn more from the links:
4.Winrar
This is a must-have app on any
pc. Want to compress a set of files to save some space or there is an already
compressed file that needs to be extracted? Well, this one got you covered. WinRAR is an archiving utility that completely
supports the most common types like RAR and ZIP archives and is able to unpack
CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO, 7Z, Z archives. So this app is
an ‘all in one’ app for anyone.
5.Opera Browser
Still stuck with Microsoft edge?
Well, how about an upgrade to one of the top internet browsers of the decade? It's
free, fast and secure. Its customization options vary from browser themes to customizable
keyboard shortcuts. Opera also got a ton of other features like Adblocker, Free
VPN, Unit converter, Battery saver, Sync data, Integrated messengers(Facebook messenger&WhatsApp),
Personal news and a built-in Snapshot tool.
Hey! Don’t forget
to make it as your default browser 🤩
6.KM Player
Believe it or not, the built-in windows 10 video
player app ‘Films&TV’ does not support many of the video file extensions like
Mkv,Ogg,WebM, etc. So we just need a video player that can play all the formats,
don’t we? My answer is the KM Player. This one can not only just play all the
videos but also supports high-quality videos such as 4K, 8K, UHD, 60FPS, and even support for 3D and VR. Who wants more than that right? Although most of the people will say
VLC is the best one out there, my personal favorite is always this guy.
7.Feem
It is the best offline file transferring app for all your devices. Now you can share all kinds of files to anyone among your Wi-Fi buddies-family, friends, co-workers who are already on the same local network with lightning speed. Whether it’s from PC to PC, PC to Mobile or Mobile to Mobile, as long as your devices are connected in the same LAN, you are good to go. The only thing I hate is that it gives you some weird names as device name as long as you stay with the basic version(Only Premium gives you that "extra super expensive privilege" to change your device name 😕). Feem also allows you to chat between users offline and it will be deleted after 48 hours. Yep, Say goodbye to endless waiting of cloud and USB drives. Download it from here:

8.Your Phone
This app lets you see all the
notifications on your phone in real-time. Since ‘Your Phone’ app is owned by Microsoft,
there is nothing to worry about spamming or eavesdropping. It’s completely
secure😜. You can also respond to certain notifications like WhatsApp and
Instagram messages etc. It also allows you to see recent photos and messages on
your phone.
9.Instagram and Facebook
Yes, you can get
both Instagram and Facebook as apps from windows store like you get in android
or ios. Although the user interface is not that good and some of the features
are missing, it’s worth giving it a shot since these come handy when you are on
the go. You can find links to both apps below:
10.Picasa Photo Viewer
Although this is a discontinued
app from Google, I think this is still the best photo viewer out there.
Photo editing options in this software is not that impressive. But just use this one
to view your pictures in an elegant way. I just love the transition it gives
while changing pictures. Check it now!
Notable Mentions:
1)MS office 365-for all office related works(presentations, auditing, etc)
2)DU Meter-for monitoring
bandwidth in real-time.
3)Sumantra PDF-as a PDF
reader
So, those were my top 10 app
recommendations for you. I know it can change from person to person. Hope this
helped you to customize your pc. Have a nice day!🙂
